A Christmas Story: Chapter 2

I can remember Christmas when I was 6ish I got these awesome patent leather shoes with bows on the toe. {This was pre Sam & Libby bow toed shoes mind you} Being that Christmas fell on a Sunday that year, it meant I was going to get to wear a pretty dress and my new shoes. Sadly, Santa got my shoe size wrong. They were too big. My mom wouldn't let me wear them to church so I had to wear my God awful old navy blue buckle shoes (not pictured).
Upon that news, when asked to stand by the tree for a picture, this is how I posed.

What...a brat. Ah, such is life when you're an only child.

loves,
sweetbef

Oh my goodness were you a cute kid and since you're beautiful now you disprove the whole cute kid ugly adult rule... I remember those shoes you're talking about. I received a pair but they barely fit when I received them (I had FAT feet) and I squeezed into them as long as I possibly could. They were fabulous!!
