thank you friends for all the sweet and supportive comments from my last post. y'all are so sweet for 1) taking the time to read my rant and 2) actually giving me super advice on such a trivial / juvenile problem.
But I also wanted to share some sweet words of wisdom from my mother...I mentioned to her that I gave her a "shout-out" on the blog and after reading my post this is what she text me.
Thanks for the shout out...yes listen to mama. She is older and wiser. He is definitely a douche, gay, asshole,etc. He is not worth your time of day. you are too good for him to even be in the same universe as you. do not ever talk, text, or give that douche another minute...second of your time or thought. do not beat yourself up about what happened...move on...chalk it up to lessons learned. lessons learned the hard way seem to stick and end up being a blessing in the end. i love you bunches put out positive energies and let that negative piece of shit reap what he sows...karma is a great equalizer.
My mom and I are SUPER close, but I rarely talk to her about my relationship woes...I don't know why because she's dated, been married for 16 years, divorced, dated more fellas, and now has been together with my stepdad for over 10 years. She has a lot of lessons under her belt.

Awww so cute! Love that your Mom called him a douche! We are too much alike. Aka our moms texting us about the cats. And everything your Mom said is 110 percent correct.

Hahah your mom gives great advice! I hate to tell my mom that she's right..but 99% of the time, she is. :)
love momma's advice! I find it hard to talk to my mom about relationships too. especially since she remembers EVERYTHING so when the "douche" comes back into the pictures she reminds me how terrible he was!
your mom gave you great advice! I'm close with my mom too and am glad she'll give me advice too! She doesn't hold back and calls the guys names ::enter bad words:: too!
