Flashback Friday

When I was little, Santa brought me a Kid Sister doll. I loved her so much and named her "Sarah" after my best friend. We are still BFF's by the way. The human Sarah, not "Sarah" the doll.

I can remember one time she got a tear on her arm and the stuffing started coming out. I was so upset and thought my doll was going to die. My aunt was able to sew her up and make it all better and I thought she was so badass for having proper stitches.

I probably hadn't had "Sarah" in my possession for a week and I already removed her sweet visor. It made her hair look like this for the rest of her life. I think she died in our attic. RIP Kid Sister Sarah.

And while we're doing Flashbacks...here is a picture I found recently of me and my two bff's when I was little getting ready to go into the circus. I'm the scared looking ginger on the right.

Happy Friday, blog buddies! Anything fun going on this weekend?

oh my goodness, that is hilarious...i TOTALLY had a kid sister...and later had to have the kid brother too (you know, so she wouldn't be an only child like me haha) i remember having my 2nd or 3rd grade school picture taken *with* kid sister in it, my mom was so annoyed that kid sister's visor was flipped up in the picture haha...oh the memories :)

The visor kills me. I would have taken it off too.

I remember that Kid Sister commercial! It made me want a Big Wheel. Crappy marketing on their part.

LOL the kid sister commercial is kind of scary! Things always seem to do that, once they get old they just have this scary feel to them! I never had a kid sister :(

LOL i totally remember these! And the bad thing is I never had one! My dad threw a ball at me and told me to go in the backyard and play sports and not worry about dolls. How depressing :-(

Hope you had a great weekend!
