I wanted to share with you how amazing my friend, Sarah is to me. I always turn to her for "relationship" advice. She is brutally honest and knows what it's like to be single and crush hard on boys and now she's been married for (almost) 5 years. This is not to say that my other friends suck and they give horrible advice. I just knew that with my little petty boy problem I was having last night that I could text her and she would be ready to shoot back the best advice. And she did...and it was so sweet it almost made me cry baby tears. So I wanted to share...in case other single ladies are reading this too...After giving her the low down on my situation this is her response...
Ok, so I just watched that movie...He just not that in to you, and I wished I would have watched the movie back in the day b/c it would have saved me alot of time worrying over guys that I was obviously 2 good for! U r a beautiful funny girl and the right guy will come around but don't waste your time worrying, wondering, chasing some guy that is not good enough 4 u!
Oh yeah and I know it is easier for me to give the advice b/c im married now but shit...looking back on some of the guys I worried about paleez... wishing I would have never had wasted my time...! Right now don't even worry before u know it u will meet someone and be married...so enjoy the single life for now...when all u have worry about is yourself! Flirt have a good time but don't waste time worrying about some guy that isn't worth it b/c u might be missing out on one who is worth it! Remember I wastes sort of crushing on that boy when I met my husband...and if I wouldn't gave my husband a chance where would I be now?

Great advice! I agree with everything she said. It is hard though when you like a boy and want nothing more for him to like you back. She is so right though ... if he isn't chasing you, then he isn't worth it. Amen!

This is such great advice! I'm a single girl too so I can totally relate. It really is true what she said though. The guys that I have gotten into relationships with have been the ones that pursued me, not the other way around. It's just hard to remember that sometimes!

VERY good advice :) I recently had to go back through some old journals for something I'm working on and I was literally disgusted with the amount of time I wasted pining after worthless dudes. Had I taken a moment to notice Steve and give him a chance we could have been together 10 years before we were ;)
