my happy list.

today's Blog Everyday in May assignment: ten things that make you really happy

here goes my list...

1. Justin Timberlake
hands down. people who don't even know me IRL know that I heart some JT. and thanks to two awesome bff's (insert sandi & mandy shout-out here) I get to see him in concert in atlanta later this year.

2. Snail Mail
I love sending/receiving letters, notes, cards, invitations, etc. I especially love the unexpected notes I send to friends to brighten their day or the ones I receive myself. I save every one, so whenever i'm feeling down I can look back for a quick pick-me-up.

3. Girl friends
any time you can spend catching up with girl friends is great. dinner and drinks or dinner and movies.  lunch meet-ups. long phone calls.
I don't know about y'all, but my girl friends are the best.

4. Favorites, Retweets, and Likes
I know this is going to sound really shallow, but I get really happy when I get "favorited" or "retweeted" on twitter or "likes" on Facebook.  and I especially love when I get favorited on twitter by Sami, because then I know I might make her famous Tweet This, Tweet That list on Friday.

5. Texts Messages from Boy Crushes
obvious...what girl doesn't love that?

6. Chick Fil-A
my love for the chick fil-a cuisine runs almost as deep as my love for justin timberlake.

7. Magic Mike "Pony Dance"
I swear I've watched this scene alone more than 30x's.  it never gets old.
if you have NO idea what i'm talking about... (2:00 and after NSFW)

8. The Beach
I grew up going to the beach every summer with my family. I can't remember a time that we didn't go to the beach in the summer. it holds so many memories that make me really happy.

9. Charleston, SC
my favorite city in the world makes me really happy.

10. "Auntie Bef" or "Bef"
hearing little voices call me "Auntie Bef" or "Bef" makes me really happy.
example...the weekend after my grandfather passed away, my family had sunday lunch with my grandma.  I walked into the dining room and my favorite little 5 year old girl (my cousin's daughter) screamed out "Auntie Bef is here!" best. feeling. ever.

Those are all awesome things (especially Chik-fil-a and Charleston) and I now know what I'll be watching later when I'm bored :)

A. I STILL haven't seen Magic Mike... I know, I know, something is CLEARLY wrong with me and B. I've never had Chik-fil-a... I blame that on Washington state for not providing one in this state... Or anywhere close to me.

Man, don't hate me but I keep forgetting about Magic Mike. Only saw it once. And totes agree with you on Charleston. It is my happy place.

You get me with that video every. single. time!!!! Love me some Channing Tatum and can I just admit that when Pony comes on Pandora, I stop what I'm doing and immediately fantasize about being the one Channing pulls up on stage!!!

Damn it he is fine!!!
