    5.17.13: a favorite photo of yourself and why.   I can't pick just one...sorry guys.   so I picked three.  

 

I found this photo about six months ago.  I've never seen it before, but I know it's from my 9th (?) birthday at Carowinds. 

 

It's me and my dad on a ride together.  I don't have many photos of me and my dad. 

 

I have it in a frame in my office at work. 

 

I don't know why it's so special to me....it. just. is.

I'm sure most of you have already seen this photo. 

 

It's from my senior prom in 2001.

I love this photo because 1. it's hilarous and 2. it reminds me that even though i'm a "city" girl now...I'm still proud of where I came from.

  you might have seen this photo too.   most people would be totally embarrassed of photos from their younger days.   not me...I love them.   look at those bangs...those teeth...and that cat sweatshirt.   I gave wallet sized editions of these to my friends for valentine's day a few years ago.   I just love this photo because, yes, I was a unfortunate looking 2nd grader but I don't look like that anymore.   embrace your past.   obviously, I was not self conscious about those bucks.
