Sunday, Kelly's grandmother hosted a sweet bridesmaid luncheon at the country club in Kelly's hometown. It was such a perfect day with great southern food and anticipation of the big day.
Kelly and her precious little flowergirl, Ila Kay. I can't wait to see both of these cuties on June 11th.
Kelly gave all her bridesmaids these fabulous totes! Love! And it matches our bridesmaid dresses to a tee. Inside the bag were some fun little extras, but the best part was Kelly each made us a mixed CD that she personalized with fun songs that reminded her of our individual friendships.
So of course, on the drive back home I had to pump up my jams to see what songs she picked.
Here are my favorites...
Look After You - The Fray
Back in May 2006, Kelly and I drove to Myrtle Beach to see The Fray at the House of Blues. On the way we bought the CD and listened to it the whole way down. It was such a fun weekend and from that entire album, this was our favorite tune.
What You Know - T.I.
Kelly knows my love for T.I. and this is by far my favorite rap song of all time. It will never get old. And when going home from the bars we would crank this up..."when I chirp, shawty chirp back."
Don't Stop Believin' - Journey
This was our standard college anthem. If this was played in the bar...we would get so jacked.
My Love - Justin Timberlake
Standard that Kelly would put a nice JT tune on there for me.
Moon and New York City - Christopher Cross
I have no idea why Kelly and I like this song or why we played it...but Kelly, our friend Devin, and I were coming back from a trip to the mall in college and it came on and we've loved it ever since.
