Her "Papa" is having surgery this morning to hopefully get rid of a mass that has grown in his colon and have him free from pain. Given his age and past health issues, this surgery is extremely critical.
Say a prayer that it will be successful and he'll be free from this pain that has been ailing him for months.
He is such a sweet man and since Sandi's dad passed away in 2008, he has been a major rock for her family.
UPDATE:
I just received an email from Sandi...
"He's out of surgery and everything went well!!! The doctor removed mass and will do biopsy to see if it was cancerous. They didn't find anything else , except scar tissue {good news} so hopefully his recovery will go well. Then MAYBE the poor thing will feel better and be pain free. Still praying for good/speedy recovery, but PRAISING the Lord that surgery was successful!THANKS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS!"
