Yesterday evening, I was very excited to take a long awaited trip to "Hob Lob" (Hobby Lobby).
My friend, Sarah's birthday was months ago and I neglected to get her a gift...but I thought of the perfect idea! And this is what I did.
8 x 10 frame. You can use any size frame you wish. And Hob Lob ALWAYS has their frames 50% off.
Scrapbook Paper. Get as many or as little scrapbook paper you want. The colors can coordinate or not. It's your project. Sarah's living room has browns, burnt orange, and green so I chose colors similar to that theme.
Letters. I had some chipboard letters left over from previous projects, but you can get them at any craft store.
Tools - Glue and Scissors.
I never used a ruler. I just cut the paper to fit inside the frame.
I cut other strips of paper and glued it on to add some "pizazz."
I hope she likes it!

that is so cute! I think I am doing a Hob Lob trip this evening (im going through withdrawals) and was going to ask you - can you do a DIY post / tutorial on how to make those banners like you did for Mason's shower? I was thinking of making one for our "Pink Partini" party at Sugar Thursday, and put "THINK PINK" on the check out counter then I also would do one for Monks shower ... if she thinks of a name soon :\
