I just started being a follower of Handbags and Handguns and I'm already obsessed. Today (and probably every Tuesday) she does what is called "Tunes Tuesday." Well, I decided I wanted to participate in this today and maybe it will become a weekly thing on my blog.
I love music...but I can't say that I love all types of music. I'm not a big fan of country. I hate Kenny Chesney, but I love me some Lady Antebellum and would buy a ticket to their concert in a heartbeat. I'm also not a fan of Dave Matthews Band. I know that probably makes me an outcast, but so be it.
However, I am a HUGE fan of anything 80's, early 90's, and hip hop. I always have been a fan of rap/r&b/hip hop. I remember when I had the TLC CD "Crazy, Sexy, Cool" It was and still is (in my opinion) the jam. I also had the soundtrack from Waiting to Exhale and Puff Daddy and the Family and would listen to both on a loop. Remember when you could get like 10 CD's for a penny? Well, I did that several times when I was a wee teenager, until they called wanting more than a penny and my mom told them I was underage and she didn't know I was getting these CD's. I had all kinds of CD's. That's where I got the majority of my CD's back in high school.
When I first starting writing this blog, I had a list of like every song I've ever loved or could remember. That got too long and I could go on FOREVER on how much I love music and what each song means....so I decided to just give you the three songs that are in the running for my First Dance tune at my wedding. God forbid, I ever do get married. Maybe next week, I'll share with you my favorite tunes to do during karaoke. :)
These three songs are in the running for my wedding song...I don't know if I'll ever be able to decide. And will you look at that...one is country. :)

Great idea for a post. Very creative!
Of course, I LOVE 80s and 90s music, too. Some of the best ever! :)
You have good taste, girl! :)
Thanks for participating and for the follow. I'm following you now too! :)
i LOVE "when you got a good thing" :)
Have you heard the "stripped" version of More than Anyone by GD? ahhhmazing. Glad you're playing Tunes Tuesday too! :)
Gavin DeGraw is awesome! He came to my college before he was big (though I guess he's still not super mainstream) which makes me think I knew him "way back when" even if I didn't really know him!
