As you know, I am a HUGE fan of reality TV. And tonight will be the end of my social life for the next 3 months.
Big Brother starts tonight. I'm not sure how many of you watch Big Brother, but I do (along with my roommate who is equally obsessed) 3 times a week. Then, we are hooked to the blogs and live feeds everyday to get minute by minute updates on the happenings in the house. Not to mention that Showtime has a live feed that runs from 12AM-3AM every night...and there have definitely been times that my roommate and I will stay up just to watch them walk around, whisper, pick their nose and fart. Glorious fun!
I watched the very first season back in 2000 and drifted off once I got to college, but for the last 4 seasons I've been hooked. It happens every summer and from July-September I lose myself in the dramz that is Big Brother.
I always wanted to be on The Real World, but I'm pretty sure I've passed the age limit by now and as long as you're alive you can be on Big Brother. I've looked at the application and seriously considered going to their casting call in Charlotte for this season back in March (but couldn't get off work). I don't know if I could subject myself to that touture of not being able to talk to your family, no TV, no internet, no books, no writing....just back stabs and competitions. There is always next year I suppose.
loves,

Yes, yes I watch! Again I.Q. dropping! LOL! Seriously, I've been hooked since it started.
I left you an award. Come get it when you get a chance.
Love the header! :)
OMG beth! you would so be perfect for big brother! i used to watch it all the time when i went home for the summer and stayed with my parents (they are total addicts too!) thanks for the heads up...i think ill start watching tonight. feel free to hang around at my house and watch it with me and mase :)
I haven't watched BB, but I definitely watch my share of reality TV! I know what you mean about the Real World age limit - I've been watching this season and they all seem SO young. Sad. Same goes with American Idol - would I ever try out? No. But it still makes me sad that I'm approaching the age deadline!
