i'm single.
I try not to complain about being single on valentine's day.
but for those that get sad about not having a valentine on valentine's day...
just remember...
some people don't have a mother on mother's day
or
some people don't have a father on father's day
i'm thankful I have a mother and a father. some of my friends aren't so lucky.
and to those friends...I love you.

what a great way to think of it! valentine's day is probably lamer for married people than single people. You are required to acknowledge it when you are married, which is stupid.

well said, my friend! I do have a husband, but we dont do anything for V-day. you are totally right though, we forget how some people spend other important holidays missing a loved one.

It's just another day. The only day that isn't "just another day" is Christmas. Because Christmas is magical and Santa is real and is it Christmastime yet?!

I couldn't agree more! I'm married BUT even before I was, I had the same mentality. Plus, we should be showing our loved ones we love them every day anyways! Not just Feb. 14.
