you hear it all the time.
"life is too short."
but it truly is...so short.
some of you may already follow Julee Turner's blog, but I saw this post today as I was doing my morning blog reading.
my heart breaks for julee, her little baby, preslee, her mother-in-law, her brother-in-law and the rest of her husband's family and friends.
I can't even begin to comprehend.

back in june on my birthday, a former co-worker of mine sent me a "happy birthday" text.
I knew she had a small wedding in early june and asked how she was doing as a newlywed.
she told me that her new husband, the love of her life, had been diagnosed with MS and since her wedding they had been in and out of the hospital.
just today, I found out that her husband is now in a wheelchair and living at his parents while she still lives in their apartment. they also found out they won't be able to have children.
my heart aches for the new couple and the struggles they are facing during just the first few months of marriage.
kelly is by far the sweetest person I have ever known. and I mean that in every way possible. I worked with her for 3 years and never heard her ONCE say a bad thing about someone else. they are such a sweet and special couple. her positive attitude I know will get them through, but I pray it's sooner than later.
just puts my own issues and struggles into perspective.

oh my goodness! I have no idea what I would do if something like that happened to my husband. She has amazing strength and I am definitely praying for her and her sweet little girl.

Sending prayers up for both Kelly and Julee. Thank you for sharing, and reminding us that life is short. We need to spend it wisely!
Hope you're having a good day, Beth!
reading about these terrible instances does really put things in perspective. It makes me angry with myself for being upset over little things when these people are dealing with such overwhelming, difficult circumstances.
My prayers are with both of these different families through the trials and tribulations the Lord has presented them with. Thank you for sharing their stories!
This is all so sad and just heartbreaking. You never know when it's going to be you or your loved one, so the best thing to offer is compasion. Great post, Beth! Your old co-worker is a strong woman. What she's doing takes guts. Her and her husband are both lucky to have found each other. Now THAT is true love!!
I hadn't heard of Julee's blog until today, and it made me put my entire life into perspective. We truly don't know how blessed we are sometimes. I'll remember your friend in my prayers- what a strong woman she must be!
wow. Julee is definitely stronger than I could ever be. Praying for her and her family. I cannot even begin to comprehend how life shattering this has been for her. My heart is so broken for her. :(
