granny saturday.

I will make this short.

But I was pretty proud of my "granny saturday" so I wanted to share.

1. Friday night Mandy and I ventured to this hole in the wall bar to see her friends band play.  They were great, but the best part were the patrons.

Imagine if Honey Boo Boo & Mama June invited all their friends over and those friends decided to dance up a storm.

The point of us being there was the band claimed they wrote an original song about Mandy's bartending days...but we never heard it.  So we left.

2. We woke up early to attend my hometown's Fall Festival.  They allow people to not only listen to music and eat fair food, but you can buy a spot and have a yard sale.  Mandy and I enjoyed watching what we like to call "human treasures" walk by.

The greatest was the Sasquatch that was promoting the local haunted trail.

I think I was a human treasure in my own right.  I saw a bunch of people I knew from high school but I'm pretty sure only 1/3 of those people recognized me.  I. Looked. Horrible.

Picture it...no makeup (a no makeup ginger might as well be a boy), hoodie, jeans, converse, baseball cap and/or high bun.

After the fall festival drew to a close, we went to Cracker Barrel for lunch, perused Hobby Lobby, and then went to an afternoon showing of Finding Nemo 3D.

This is what we called our "Granny Saturday."

After the movie I went to visit with my oldest and dearest BFF.  We treated ourselves to fro-yo and girl talk.

4. I also got a tour of their new "Pool House."  The picture was taken during "production" but y'all...this thing is AMAZING! The things my BFF's husband can do with his bare hands is unreal.

He built this by himself.  He also made a bar inside.  I wish I had taken a pic for all to see.  It had a nice comfy leather couch, huge flat screen, old 50's fridge, ice box, sink, full bar, pool table, and amazing vintage signs and trinkets hung all around.

Can't wait to attend parties in that thing.

Sunday was spent all day in my PJ's...which is the perfect end to a weekend in my opinion.

Looks like a great weekend! As a fellow ginger, I completely understand what we look like without mAke-up. :-( so sad, but true

A ginger with no make up does NOT look like a boy, but a girl wearing jeans with Converse's and a baseball hat might. Just sayin'

And I love your weekend... right up my alley!

That pool house looks killer. I need better pics of it... or maybe to see it in person. Either way is cool :)

MISS YOUR PRETTY FACE !!!!

I saw on Ellen last week that they're finally making Finding Nemo 2. This makes me happy because it's one of the few kids movies that I can watch again and again. I hope the second one doesn't suck.
