New Year's Eve

I'm sure you are all expecting for me to have some elaborate New Year's Eve recap...if I were you and I knew me, I would be hoping for the same thing.

However, this year...that's not the case.  I rang in the New Year on my couch in my PJ's.  Gasps heard round the world.

I wasn't alone...Mandy was with me.

We made plans to go get new tats, go catch an early flick, pick up some pizza for dinner, and then drink and watch The Cool TV at my apartment.  All those things happened except the new tattoo part.

What's The Cool TV you ask?  You need to check your local listings to see if you get the channel and then if you do you need to watch it.  It's a channel that plays videos ALL. DAY. LONG.  If you love music, you'll love this channel.

We went to see Young Adult (Sandi...I'm still waiting to see New Year's Eve with you...don't worry friend.)

With two mini bottles of wine each in our purses, we were the only young people in the theater.  There were 3 other couples and one that was sitting in front of us moved mid way through the movie, because maybe we were being too loud talking about how we probably act like this Charlize Theron character on the daily.

After the movie, we picked up pizza and boozed it at home.

I will say this...all those New Year's Eve "parties" they have on TV are lame.  I'll probably spend the next NYE at my usual spot...the bar...finding a stranger to make out with at midnight.

But it was nice to not have to fuss over what to wear, getting from point A to B, and most importantly not waking up with a hangover or no memory of the night before.

I hope you all had a nice New Year's Eve!  Welcome to 2012!

My new years was much of the same- except swap out the pizza for Chinese food, and Young Adult for netflix.

Happy New Year!

After I left your house, I went to the mall looking like Charlize. I felt bad, but thought, hey at least I am not hungover!

I rang in mine just like you!

Young Adult was AWESOME but the whole movie was oddly uncomfortable. Like when you are watching TV and youre so embarassed for the character you want to change the channel. Hahahaa.. Shawn was NOT a fan but I loved it!

(: don't forget to check out my new year's giveaway!

I'm jealous of your NYE too. Cool Tv doesn't sound nearly as cool as BET fliks.

Hahaha Carissa comment sums it up.

You better believe I was playing Just Dance(kids version), playing kids game and having a bunk bed sleepover with the nieces. Yep. I'm that cool :)

So your night sounds like the PERFECT night to me!! Yeah, I'm lame. God I used to be fun!! I hate hangovers, so much so that I'll chug mounds of water before bed. This generally works. How was the movie???

a relaxing NYE is sometimes the best way to start the new year..

so is drinking. but that's pretty much for any occasion.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who rang in the new year at home. I went to dinner with some friends but definitely came home and put on some pjs. We didn't even watch the ball drop...haha and I was passed out by 12:30. Whooops!

I had the EXACT same new years except my best friend and I saw "We Bought a Zoo" and took in splits of champagne.
