last saturday, I hosted a baby shower with some girlfriends for my sweet friend Kelly. she is due to have a baby girl, Hadley Day at the end of this month.
it was so good to get the crew aka "sharkriders" (inside joke) back together. we live all over the state and it's hard for us to all get together very often, but when we can we definitely like to soak it all in.
we decided to just serve desserts, so that would make it simple and it went perfect with the special baby girl poem "sugar, spice and everything nice"
our menu:
decorated cookies
cupcakes
strawberries and grapes with fruit dip
vanilla wafers and animal crackers with funfetti dip
pink lemonade
and as a favor, I found this champagne idea on another blog and HAD to steal it for our baby girl shower too.
can't wait to pop my bottle in celebration of Hadley's arrival! hopefully it's any day now.
