I'm probably going to be going out on a limb here thinking that anyone besides myself had this VHS.
I remember getting this for my 7th birthday (1990...YES!). It was like Soul Train or MTV's The Grind, but with teeny boppers in awesome midrift showing outfits and mullets. Ah...those were the days.
It also featured a how-to dance number by the Miss Paula Abdul back in her prime. I'm not gonna lie, this dance even seems a little advanced for me and my level of dance training...which is ZERO.
I would like to mention that I do have formal dance training. Miss Lottie Jean's School of Dance for 7 years and then I minored in dance in college for one year where I mastered Modern and Jazz dance. That was a joke. Who was I kidding?
Happy Weekend, friends!

hahaha formal training huh? I bet your old teacher is really thankful for this free publicity.
I had a barbie workout video... oh man how I wish I still had that video... the outfits alone would be worth the search.

We used to have to do Paula Abdul dance work out video and an MTV grind workout video in the summers at practice during our two-a-days. FML! I loved it thoguh. Both were extremely challenging.
Not happy you are getting a pedi while I'm slaving away.
I think my dad banned me from ever knowing this existed because he secretly wanted me to be a boy. I would have been OBSESSED WITH THIS!
I didn't have the Barbie tape, but Paula Abdul's "Forever Your Girl" was the first cassette tape I owned!
I did not have the Barbie VHS but I am sure I would have loved it!
I don't have that VHS either, but certainly remember Paula when she was in her prime! Can totally see myself rockin' out to "Straight Up." :)
Have a great weekend!
