dream wedding.

you know how most girls dream about their wedding day?

i'm not one of those girls.

I have no idea what kind of dress I want to wear, or the flowers, or the colors, or location.

the only thing I DO know are the people I want there by my side. and the music.

I know the music I want played.

I figure by the time I get married, everyone will be walking down the isle to non traditional tunes...well, even if that's not the case in 2085, i'll be doing it.

here are my song choices.

wedding party entrance song. (bridesmaids)

wedding party entrance song. (groomsmen)

bride entrance song option 1. (if my groom is younger than me...and with my track record this is HIGHLY possible)

I haven't come up with a 2nd option, but when I do you'll be the first to know.

bride and groom announcement song (after the ceremony is over and we exit).

first dance song.

I know most of you think i'm probably joking...but i'm 89% serious.

Before I got married, I never dreamed of my wedding. All throughout college, I could have sworn I wouldn't get married until my 30s or like ever lol.

Ha love all your choices. My best friend and her hubby came into Gold Digger by Kayne West which was hilarious. My first dance with my hubby was More Than Anyone by Gavin DeGraw. Love that song.

That is funny!! I have a wedding song playlist on my phone that I periodically add to when I hear a great song.

I so played these and pictured your whole wedding playing out. The wedding party jamming out as they went down the isle! Groom= JT of course!

I had no idea when I got married either. I figured it would make everything easier to come in with a clean slate.
apparently I was wrong....
but what do I know "call me maybe" ended up being my entrance song, haha!

It's too bad that More Than Anyone can't be my wedding song because I wouldn't want to groom to feel uncomfortable by having to hear his own song. BUT.. he will for sure have written me my own song to serenade me at the wedding (a la JT) ;)

OMG! The music literally MAKES or breaks a wedding, at least for me! I had a strict DO NOT PLAY list! I didn't realize the kind of wedding I wanted until I actually started planning.. then everything kinda fell into place:)

this is awesome. i have a cousin who wanted to enter the reception to "isn't she lovely" but her mother INSISTED it has to be a song about how awesome they both are -- not just about how awesome she is.

they walked in to "You Shook Me All Night Long." it was perfect.
