After the Wordless Wednesday I did this week, I realized that Flashback Friday doesn't have to be totally dedicated to songs. Silly me. It can be dedicated to ANYTHING...shows, games, toys, commercials, movies, etc. I love all things 80's and 90's and I watched a LOT of TV.
So for my first "non song" Flashback Friday...I bring you...
Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
I remember my dad brought home from work one time a "Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego" computer game. I played that for hours upon hours on our old school Apple computer. The screen was 1" x 1" and everything was in black and white. But obviously the concept of the game was to find that sneaky ginger. And when you got close to her whereabouts they would play this eery music. It scared me, but I was scared of a lot of things. I could do a whole post (probably more like 12) on things I was afraid of as a child.
Did any of you have this game? Do you remember the show?

Oh yes, I recall playing this on a tiny black and white computer screen in elementary school. But what really rocked my world was Oregon Trail. Loved me some Oregon Trail.

i had the board game and i use to beggggggg my parents to play with me (i was an only child) hahah i had totally forgotten about the tv show!!!

I loved playing Carmen San Diego!! And I agree with soem of the others...Oregon Trail was the shizz. They have a facebook version of that one too! Yippeee!
